Vice President
In 1962, Dwight Alston was
born in Scotland Neck, NC. He grew up in Washington, D.C. where he
enrolled Kendall Demonstration Elementary School in 1968. He became deaf
at age of 3 ½ from suffering spinal meningitis.
Dwight graduated from
Kendall in 1975 and continued his education at Model Secondary School
for the Deaf (1980) and Gallaudet University (1990). He received his B.S
degree in Business Administration – Accounting.
Dwight had made
career change in which he is pursuing M.A. degree in Deaf Education from
McDaniel College. Currently, he is single and works as a middle school
math teacher and basketball coach at his alma mater. He enjoys reading
books and is a sport fans.
